The reading room

The library and reading room

A reading room with floor-to-ceiling shelves and the original factory windows behind them. One of the building's quieter shared spaces, and one of the reasons the renovation reads as deliberate.

The reading room

The library and reading room is a resident space with floor-to-ceiling shelves and the building's original oversized steel-frame windows behind them. It is a place to read or work away from the apartment, alongside the resident lounge and the courtyard.

The building's shared rooms

Beyond the reading room, the building has a resident lounge with seating and a mounted television, the steel-and-glass courtyard between the two 1906 buildings, a 24-hour fitness center, and local art hung throughout the common areas. The working-from-home page covers how these work for a remote day.
